Candessa Surgical & Laser Aesthetics offers a variety of exfoliating treatments for your skin. Exfoliations is crucial to great looking skin. It helps with fine lines, pigmentation, dull skin, and break outs.
Dermasound
The use of ultrasonic waves to gently exfoliate and penetrate the much needed product into the deeper layers of the skin.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Peels are helpful for those individual with acne, wrinkles, and uneven skin pigmentation. It is a chemical solution that is applied to the face approximately 30 minutes. Each individual reacts differently to a chemical peel. Some will have peeling the very first day. For others, the peeling may start on day 3 or 4. Chemical peels are great to have in the fall and the winter here in Utah. The reason for this is because when a client has a chemical peel done, it is critical that they stay out of the sun for at least 2 weeks. After that, it is advised to keep sunscreen on at all times. After having a chemical peel, your face will have all new and fresh skin. It can burn easily and therefore is very important to stay out of the sun as much as possible.
Blue Peel Radiance
A 30 minute peel that addresses fine lines and wrinkles, hydrates skin, diminishes blemishes and gives an instant glow with little to no down time. A great treatment just before an event or have a series of 4 to 6 for a more dramatic change.

Your skin may appear to have a bluish tint afterwards that will wash off within a day or two.After the treatment, you may notice some slight swelling and your skin will begin peeling within 2 to 3 days. It will continue until you’re completely healed in an average of 7 to 10 days. You can continue your regular routine but some patients choose to limit their normal activity until the peeling is more under control. Once your skin has recovered from the treatment you will notice the dramatic results of your improved skin and appearance. Maintenance with the Obagi Nuderm products will sustain and continue to improve your results. If desired, the Obagi Blue Peel can be repeated until the desired goal is achieved.
